On Friday September 28th, 2018 the “Beer Trippers” from Utepils Brewing will gather in Amsterdam and begin our next exploration of historic brewing lands in Europe.
In 2017 we took a full crew to the Czech Republic and not only had a great time but came back with the inspiration for our 2018 Utepils Moment, a Limited Release beer. This Czech Style Dark Lager will be released in this month. Part of the “Beer Trippers” responsibilities on this trip will be to come back inspired to create a totally new 2019 Utepils Moment beer.
One of the “perks” of MemBEERship (our VIPer program which is still available) is to get first chance to join in on these annual trips. And they grabbed almost all of them but we do have about four spots open.
In 2018 I’ve chosen to do the A B C D of Beers – an exploration of Amsterdam, Brussels, Cologne, and Dusseldorf. This is a trip I have wanted to do for nearly a decade and it dovetails cleverly with our beer line at Utepils: our Dusseldorf Alt 1848, Kolsch (Cologne) Style Copacetic, and Glocal, our Belgian IPA.
When: September 27 to Oct 7th These dates mean you can enjoy Utepils’ Oktoberfest and then head to Europe. If it temps you, there is just enough time in between to squeeze in a few nights in Munich for the original Oktoberfest before we meet up in Amsterdam on the 28th for the Utepils organized part of your travels.
Cost: Base cost per individual $3195.00. This does not include airfare. Many of you have frequent flier miles, airline relatives or wish to travel early and/or stay later in Europe so it is not practical for us to organize air travel. Hotels, tours (brewery and city), transport to and around our destinations, and most meals are included along with the services of our amazing tour operator. You should expect to pay for your activities, beverages, and meals on your free time along with souvenirs.

Choose the top trip listed in the drop down box and complete the form. In the Additional Information text box, include anything else you need to share with Mike, our trip operator, plus the words Buddha Pills….it’s kind of an inside joke we’ll explain in Amsterdam. Otherwise you can just type Utepils Brewing.
