Music Quiz is a game that mixes a traditional “name that tune” style game with unique music trivia rounds such as mash ups, missing lyrics, backwards audio clips and more.
Rules:
There are 8 songs played spanning various genres in the regular round. Each song will be played for 2 minutes.
Teams may assign between 1 and 8 points for each song for naming the artist or group of the song, however, they can only use each point value once.
For each song during the regular round, there are bonus point opportunities for providing the song title and answering a related trivia question.
After the 4th and 8th regular round questions, there is a 4-Song Mystery Round. Mystery rounds are mini-themed rounds where each correct answer is worth 2 points.
The game ends with the “Call Your Shot” Final Question. Teams can wager up to 15 of the points they’ve earned at that point in the game, only knowing the category or genre of the song.
