About: This two hour yoga workshop is for people (all humans, all levels) who are looking to improve their running and cycling abilities through yoga. In partnership with a collegiate athlete, Annie has created a series of poses (asanas) to improve strength, posture, and flexibility that will aid in performance as well as recovery. This class will include breath and meditation work and a longer yoga practice that will set the stage to create mobility in the body, allowing us to deepen postures and experiment with our edge in a safe and permissive way. We will discuss how science and yoga connect in running and cycling.
If you love our 45 min vinyasa classes, you will really enjoy getting into your muscles, joints, tendons and ligaments even more with this more specific practice.
Space is limited to 40 people; please pre-register through City Pages Tix, or sign up with Annie at any of her classes during the week.
All humans and levels welcome. Bring a mat and a smile.
